Kendall's Cakes
About
I've been baking for as long as I can remember. As a child, I loved helping my mom in the kitchen with cakes and cookies of all kinds. She never really liked cooking, but baking was one of her favorite hobbies.
It was wih my mom that I first took a cake decorating class. We loved everything about it, and we had so much fun each week bonding over fondant, royal icing and buttercream. Our instructor encouraged us to express our creativity and make each cake our own.
Since completing two Wilton four-week courses, as well as a day-long tiered cake workshop, I've taken every opportunity to bake for friends, family, and co-workers that I can get.
I love experimenting with new flavors, but I also have some of my "go-to" recipes that seem to be popular
(chocolate/peanut butter is a favorite). I'm happy to make cakes for all occassions.
